Fortune is the fifth studio album by American singer Chris Brown. It was released on July 3, 2012, through RCA Records. The album features a variety of genres, such as R&B, pop, EDM, and hip hop, and includes collaborations with Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Nas, Sevyn Streeter, and Kevin McCall. Fortune received mixed to negative reviews from critics, who criticized its lyrical content and production, but it was nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 55th Grammy Awards. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, selling 135,000 copies in its first week, and also topped the charts in the UK, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.

Fortune was preceded by four singles: the Eurodance-inspired "Turn Up the Music", which reached number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the UK Singles Chart; the sultry "Sweet Love", which peaked at number 25 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart; the rap-centered "Till I Die", featuring Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa, which reached number 15 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart; and the David Guetta-assisted dance anthem "Don't Wake Me Up", which became Brown's third number one single in the UK and also charted in the top ten in several other countries. The remorseful ballad "Don't Judge Me" was later released as the fifth and final single from the album.
